South Africa species naturally grow in parts with seasonal temperatures between 10-15°C. They are durable and easy to keep like D. ciiapensis, D. capillaris, D. spatulata, D. binata ... They can be kept in only peat or peat : perlute mixture 1:1. They must have direct sunlight and water inside their pots. In temperatures lower than 10°C their upper parts died, but in spring they will grow from roots. Watering with distilled water or rainwater.
